Web site launched and home office networked: David finally found the time to work on some of his own stuff for a change. He redesigned his test site and launched this one. He also installed a LAN for his home office to connect a Windows 2000 Advanced Server with workstations and laptops running Windows XP, 2000, 98, 95 and NT. A small internet router connects the DSL (digital subscriber line) for high speed internet access and acts as a firewall. All rooms are connected through the basement patch panel and a small HUB. All systems run at the fast Ethernet standard of 100 megabits per second.
